Hi,
We’ll soon be launching a series of conversations that will give a wide range of residents, businesses and community groups a genuine opportunity to get involved in shaping the future of placemaking in Tottenham.
Tottenham’s communities are diverse and continuously changing. We know we need to develop a better understanding of who our residents are, their strengths and needs, and how we can best work with you, our local community organisations.
Your organisation plays an important role in the local community, and we would like to ensure that you and your members are able to have a say in any decisions that affect you and are kept up to date with opportunities to get involved.
Complete the community survey - Deadline 30 April
We have created a quick online survey to collect this information for communities specifically and should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete.
The online survey has 8 different languages which can be accessed in the top right-hand corner of the form.
You are welcome to share our commonplace page with other local community organisations that you work with or know of, as we hope to reach the broadest possible range of community members.
If you have any questions about the survey or having issues around accessibility, please email tottenhamregeneration@haringey.gov.uk
With thanks,
Tottenham placemaking team
Galliford Try will be removing the tower crane from the Ashley Road east site between Monday 10 October – Friday 14 October.
The removal of the crane will require the use of a large mobile crane and a road closure to the south end of Ashley Road between Berol Yard / Ashley House entrances and the traffic lights at Watermead Way. Access to these premises will be maintained at all times.
The footpath on the east side of Ashley Road will also need to be temporarily closed. There will be signs directing pedestrians to open footpaths.
The road closure and crane operation will be enclosed and managed at all times.
The road will be closed from 6am on Monday 10 October until 6pm on Friday 14 October.

Engagement on early-stage Design Options - Monday 3 October – Sunday 23 October
Throughout October we welcome you to have your say on the early-stage design options for Down Lane Park. This is a unique opportunity to help shape major investment into the park.
Two design options have been developed through a co-design process, bringing together community representatives, councillors, and the council. These two design options show how the different elements of the park like routes, sports facilities and play space could be redesigned to better meet the needs and aspirations of residents, park users, and wider community.
Your feedback will be used to develop a single design proposal for the park which will be consulted on in spring 2023.

In response to resident concerns, a new Re-Deployable CCTV camera has been installed on the eastern approach to the Park View Underpass in Tottenham Hale.
The camera is being monitored 24/7 from our CCTV control room to look out for crime, ASB and illegal waste dumping.
